We were carrying a large patient down a narrow stairwell on our cot. We got to the bottom of the stairs and there was not enough room for someone to stand there holding the door open. So I pulled out my FatIvan® and inserted it into the door hinge. This gave us all hands to carry the patient and still have room to squeeze through the door without wasting a guy holding the door!
